Board appoints long-term substitute, approves substitutes and volunteer list for 2024–25

The Stockbridge Valley Central School District board appointed Abigail Walker as a long-term third-grade substitute beginning approximately Sept. 17, 2024 and continuing through Jan. 31, 2025. The motion to appoint Walker was moved by Board member Kristin Guinto and seconded by Board member Jaime Renner; the vote was 5–0.
The board also approved the list of substitute teachers for 2024–25 (Evalyn Brazeau; Todd Conklin; Brandi Hafelin; Angela Thornton; Abigail Walker) and approved the volunteer list for the school year. These personnel actions were taken on the superintendent’s recommendation and recorded without recorded abstentions.
