Board OKs parking license with FISTA, renews wildlife agreement and declares surplus equipment

The board approved a parking license agreement with Fires Innovation Science & Technology Accelerator (FISTA) allowing county employees and visitors to use a portion of the Central Plaza parking area for $85 per month or a one-time payment of $1,020; the term runs July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. The agreement was listed and approved as part of the consent agenda.
At the same meeting the board approved renewing the cooperative agreement with the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry, Wildlife Services Division for wildlife damage management activities, noting the fee for services is $3,400 and the agreement ends June 30, 2027. The board also adopted surplus resolutions declaring an ASUS computer and a Pitney Bowes postage machine surplus for the assessor’s office and approved disposal of a 2001 Chevrolet van (VIN 1GAHG39R611189761) to Joe’s Backhoe Service; those items were recorded in SEG 010–SEG 011 of the minutes.
