The Comanche County Board of Commissioners on June 29 accepted the resignation of Mark Henry from the Comanche County Agricultural Industrial Exposition and Fair Public Trust Authority, effective June 23, 2026, and approved a slate of appointments and reappointments to the authority. Commissioner Kenny Kinder moved to acknowledge the resignation and the motion passed with Commissioners Ryan John, Kenny Kinder and Chairman Johnny Owens voting aye.
The board filled the vacancy created by Henry’s departure by appointing Tyler Glover to the authority, effective immediately and expiring June 30, 2029. The board also approved the appointment of Josh Sullivan to fill the seat vacated by Charles Lupi, with the same term end date. Chairman Johnny Owens moved to reappoint Flint Runyan and Commissioner Ryan John moved to reappoint Clayton Landers; both reappointments are effective July 1, 2026 and expire June 30, 2029. As recorded in the minutes, "KINDER MOVED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE RESIGNATION OF BOARD MEMBER, MARK HENRY," and subsequent appointment motions passed with no recorded nay votes.
