At 6:37 p.m. the Board moved into closed session after Dr. Mark Chao made a motion, seconded by Devin Savage, citing the need to "consider information regarding self-evaluation, practices and procedures or professional ethics, when meeting with a representative of a statewide association of which the public body is a member." The motion carried on a voice vote and the board entered closed session.
The board moved back into open session at 8:29 p.m.; the motion to return was moved by Dr. Chao, seconded by Lisa Khabeer, and on a voice vote was unanimously carried. The regular meeting re‑convened at 8:30 p.m. and adjourned shortly thereafter at 8:32 p.m.
