District administrators reported that The Marcs Studio, LLC filmed a Shopko Optical commercial at Lincoln Junior High School on several dates in October 2025. The packet lists the following uses and dates: Oct. 13 (technical scouting, 4:00–7:30 p.m.), Oct. 16 (pre-dressing classroom, 8:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m.), and Oct. 17 (classroom, northwest parking lot, gym and cafeteria for staging and crew lunch). The district charged rental fees and custodial overtime for the production.
Superintendent Dr. Margaret Clauson presented the item as part of administrative reports; the Board did not take separate action on the filming report during the Oct. 21 meeting. Administrators said the district provides facilities for community and commercial use under its rental policies and records such uses in the Board packet.
