During the April 7 meeting the board tabled proposed resolutions that would have placed a public measure on the general election ballot for Grant and Highland townships. The measure, as described in the minutes, would have allowed the Board of Supervisors to appoint township officers and clerks rather than those officers being elected by township electors; the item was tabled and no final action was taken.
The board also authorized the chair to sign a letter of entity validation for issuance of unique entity identification (UEI) numbers for drainage districts (motion by Vanden Hull, seconded by Rohwer). The minutes record discussion of a county fireworks application and the county General Relief Ordinance but do not record decisions on those items. The board moved to adjourn to April 14, 2026; the minutes were attested by County Auditor Rhea Schmalen and signed by Chair Nancy McDowell.
