Skokie SD 68 board approves January minutes and consent agenda

The Board approved the minutes from the Jan. 16, 2024 regular and closed-session meetings following a motion by Mr. Jeffrey Sterbenc and a second from Dr. Noelle Sullivan. The roll call recorded AYE votes from Bell-Jordan, Hayat, Lonigro, Ruffner, Sterbenc and Sullivan; Anne Warshaw was absent.
The board also approved the consent agenda on a motion by Ms. Emily Lonigro, seconded by Mr. Sterbenc. Items on the consent agenda included personnel actions (hires, leaves, resignations and retirements), financial reports including the Fund Balance for January 2025 and the Statement of Position, pay orders and expenditures (accounts payable, cash-flow and P-Card report), and the second reading of Board Policy. The consent motion carried by roll call with the same vote distribution as the minutes approval.
