Steve Kyle of Kyle Design Group, who introduced the plan, said the platform will be raised to comply with the flood elevation and will include a white lattice below with a railing and screening behind it. "It's gonna be raised to to comply with the flood elevation," Kyle said. Staff and commissioners emphasized that the shielding should be compatible with the approved house materials and asked that final details be returned with the application. The motion to approve the platform and screening passed on a commission vote.
