Selectboard members approved a motion to pave the entire .42‑mile section of Sweet Hollow Road at their June 22 meeting. Town Administrator Cathy Ainsworth reported SD Ireland would pave the section for $83.70 per ton; after brief discussion about whether to pave the whole segment or part of it, Selectboard member Tom Howrigan moved to pave the full .42 miles and Damian Branon seconded. The motion passed with all in favor.
Board members asked Roads Foreman Maurice Jettie to provide next year's prioritization rationale for how paving projects are chosen. The board also heard separate updates about paving grant paperwork that could fund construction next summer, with a grant term possibly extending through 2028.
