$68,000 remains in paving fund; Selectboard asks administrator to check with Swanton before allocating to Sweet Hollow

Town Administrator Cathy Ainsworth told the Selectboard that the recently awarded paving bid left $68,000 remaining in the paving fund. Selectboard member Melissa Manson proposed using some of the remaining funds to repave the rough section of Sweet Hollow, noting that Swanton may be paving its portion of the road this summer.
The board asked Ainsworth to confirm whether Swanton will pave its section and which contractor they will use before the Selectboard finalizes how to allocate the $68,000. Cathy said she must finalize the contract with Whitcomb but will check with Swanton and return with that information.
