Demetrius Bolduc, Fairfield Town Clerk, reported to the Selectboard that a recent NEMRC seminar introduced a new tax‑billing feature that "will show credits for people who pay ahead," which removes the need for manual credit adjustments.
Bolduc said he has joined the Vermont Municipal Clerks/Treasurers Association and that the Town Clerk’s office is now approved to sell hunting and fishing licenses. He added the office is exploring offering DMV services locally to help residents who have difficulty using online systems.
