The Conewago Valley School District Board voted to remove Ways & Means agenda item 7 from tonight’s agenda after several board members said the packet contained an outdated attachment with visible tracked changes.
"I recommend removal of agenda item number 7," said Bill (board member), who led the request after members said the publicly posted document did not reflect the edits discussed in the study session. Counsel Brooke advised the board that it can approve the version it intends to approve and that the board’s minutes must reflect what was approved.
After discussion about whether the updated document needed to be attached to the meeting packet, the board moved, seconded and passed a voice vote to remove item 7 and approve the agenda as amended (items 1–6, 8 and 9). The chair directed administration to proceed with activities in the plan and to return the edited evaluation/manual for formal approval next month.
