China Grove authorizes Phase 1 asphalt crack sealing and Triple Tree striping

The council authorized the mayor to proceed with Phase 1 of the Asphalt Crack Sealing Program with Texas Road Repair in an amount not to exceed $12,000 and approved $6,600 of additional striping work for Triple Tree, funded from street maintenance (EXP 07-100). The agenda motion reads: "Authorize the Mayor to proceed with Phase 1 of the Asphalt Crack Sealing Program with Texas Road Repair in an amount not to exceed $12,000 in accordance with the Council-approved contract, and to approve the additional striping work for Triple Tree in the amount of $6,600 to be funded from EXP 07-100 Street Maintenance."
Alderman Reynaldo Benitez moved the authorization and Alderman Fred Bean seconded; the vote was 5–0. Council authorized the mayor to execute the work consistent with the approved contract and funding source.
