Council approves plat waiver for HWY 87 Retail Subdivision
Summary

On July 2 the China Grove City Council approved a Plat Waiver request for the HWY 87 Retail Subdivision under Section 2.13 of Subdivision Ordinance No. 22-0407-1. The waiver allows the recorded Permissive Use Agreement to stand in lieu of the drainage easement required by Section 3.11(B)(1), provided the developer complies with remaining subdivision and development requirements prior to final plat approval.
The motion by Mayor Pro Tem Fred Bean, seconded by Alderman Reynaldo Benitez, passed 5–0. The minutes note the waiver is conditional on compliance with outstanding subdivision requirements; the council did not finalize the plat nor waive any additional development conditions.
