Finance staff proposed transferring $15,000 from CubQuest to the Employer of Choice fund and said the dollars are flexible to support principals’ building-level needs. “So, we are asking to take some of the money that has come from our CubQuest, program and funds and shift that over to our employer of choice,” Mister Ahas said.
Board members discussed the source of the funds and the administration explained CubQuest proceeds derive from after-school activities and previous credit-card rebates; the resolution was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. Staff said those funds are intended to help principals support teachers and programs locally.
