She said the project—scheduled to start in February—will run community meetings from February through May, produce a joint plan that ranks local priorities, and includes some implementation funding beginning in 2027. Lily told council there is an MOU that needs a city signature but that the commitment is in‑kind staff time rather than a direct financial obligation.
Council members expressed support for the effort and noted the plan could be coordinated with the comprehensive‑plan process. "This is a pretty great planning grant," Lily said, explaining that the FoodWell Alliance funds similar city projects and that this is the first multi‑city collaboration for Chattahoochee Hills and Palmetto. Council asked that Chris be listed as the city’s project representative and that the MOU be returned for formal approval at the regular meeting.
