At its June 15 meeting the board approved a broad personnel agenda that included resignations and retirements (for example, Pam Sharp’s resignation entries), summer curriculum writing and strategic‑plan hours for multiple staff, extended school year teacher aide assignments and substitute listings, and non‑affiliated salary increases effective July 1, 2026.
The board also granted tenure to multiple teachers effective September 8, 2026: Katlin Blackburn (literacy tenure area), Grace Campbell (physical education), Melissa Conaghan (elementary education), Alyssa Hancock (school social worker), Darlene Sommerfeldt (elementary education) and Tammy Stewart (elementary education). These tenure actions were listed and approved as part of the consent agenda and related personnel motions.
