Council approved a 10-item consent agenda that included communications, resolutions and one ordinance. Among the resolutions the council accepted a $5,000 offer for the vacant lot at 2937 28th Street and approved three Michigan Department of Natural Resources 2025 trust fund grants: each grant provides $250,000 combined with a $250,000 local match to fund restroom and ADA parking improvements at Sanborn Park and multi-sport fields and accessible play features at Knoxville and Lakeside parks.
The consent agenda also included confirmation of the mayor's appointment to the South Side Neighborhood Improvement Authority and an agreement with Saint Clair County Community College to assign a campus resource officer. The clerk presented the items and took roll call for adoption; the items were adopted under the consent process.
