Board approves removal of three cherry trees at Thurston Village Cemetery

The board noted the contractor may enter a neighboring property (Roselyn Renner’s) to complete the work once ground conditions allow.
Separately, Town Clerk Sue Conklin suggested beautifying areas in front of the Town Hall with flowers or bushes as a memorial to the recently deceased former Town Attorney Rachel Treichler. Supervisor Michael Volino said he would seek ideas and noted donations might be sought through a local Sierra Club chapter where Treichler was active.
