Board agrees to post obituary notice, discusses ZBA hearing left open and adjourns

Board Member Elisabeth Albert asked that notice of the passing of Craig Surprise be posted on the town website and in the Tgazette; all members agreed to do so. The request was handled as an agreed announcement rather than a formal motion for a separate action item.
Board Member Linda Mirabelli reported the Zoning Board of Appeals held a public hearing on Monday that remains open and asked whether the Board needed to re-notice the hearing; Supervisor Ryan Skoda replied he did not think re-noticing was necessary. With no further business, a motion by Board Member Perry Ascher, seconded by Elisabeth Albert, adjourned the special meeting at 10:37 a.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Sept. 9, 2024 at the Taghkanic Town Hall.
