Webb UFSD board approves consent agenda including safety and special-education plans

The Town of Webb Union Free School District board voted unanimously Sept. 12 to approve a consent agenda that bundled minutes, warrants and claims, personnel actions and policy items. The consent slate included approval of the District Safety Plan and the District Special Education Plan, acceptance of a teacher resignation effective Sept. 27, 2024, and the declaration of surplus instructional materials.
Board President Diane Heroux moved the recommendation and Margaret Morelli made the motion that was seconded by Marissa Van Valkenburg; the vote on the consent agenda was 4–0. The warrants and claims listed in the consent motion included Fund TA (#2) payments of $171,110.06, Fund A (#7) payments of $276,647.19, Fund C (#2) payments of $16,218.69 and other fund checks detailed in the agenda.
Jennifer Dunn reported updates tied to agenda approvals and district operations. The board also approved board goals and staff appointments included on the consent agenda, such as a long-term substitute hire and extra duty advisor stipends.
