The Tioga Central Board adopted an ACA resolution setting the measurement and stability periods used to determine benefit eligibility for variable-hour employees.
The resolution sets a standard 12-month measurement period from July 1, 2025—June 30, 2026, an administrative period July 1—August 31, 2026, an initial measurement period for new hires tied to their hire date, and a stability period from Sept. 1, 2026 through Aug. 31, 2027. The motion instructs the district to take actions necessary to implement those schedules.
Separately, the board authorized the Chief School Officer to certify payrolls, approve attendance at conferences and workshops, approve budget transfers, supervise petty cash with the District Treasurer, manage temporary investments, obtain surety bonds for treasurer and tax collector, and apply for state and federal grants for the 2025-2026 school year. The authorization was approved by motion and recorded in the minutes.
