Staff and communications staff discussed how to present official correspondence and background materials to the public.
One participant noted they had not altered the TCEQ letter because "it has to be that letter," and communications staff (referred to as Lindsey) was identified as the conduit for publishing explanatory material so residents can understand agenda items without attending meetings. Chair emphasized that video and posted explanations allow residents to "hear David talk" and understand what officials are voting on.
The group agreed to prepare a short explanatory post to accompany official letters and supporting documents so that residents can access both the authoritative correspondence and plain‑language context. Staff were reminded they can provide materials to Lindsey outside the table for posting.
