Greg Lewis, chair of the Clarksville ISD Board of Trustees, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; the board proceeded through an invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance, and Shuronda Turner read the district’s vision and mission statement.
The meeting notice said the board would "convene in closed session pursuant to one or more of the following sections of the Texas Open Meetings Act: A. Cybersecurity 551.0761 B. Consultation with Attorney to receive legal advice 551.071." The board entered closed session at 6:33 p.m. to address cybersecurity and to consult with the district’s attorney under the cited state law provisions. The trustees reconvened in open session at 7:00 p.m.
After returning to open session the board considered whether to take action on matters discussed in closed session and recorded that "no action was taken." Attending trustees listed in the meeting minutes were Greg Lewis, Nancy Brem, Heather Taylor, Shuronda Turner, Angelia Rosser and WaDonna Cherry; Michael Turner was noted as absent. The meeting was adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
