During its Jan. 6 meeting the Clear Lake Shores City Council approved the consent agenda, which included the check register for Nov. 25–Dec. 29, 2025 and the Dec. 2, 2025 meeting minutes. Councilman Rick Fisher moved approval and Councilman Jeff Terrell seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Later in the meeting the council also voted to cancel the second council meeting in January 2026. Councilman Ed Waters moved to cancel the meeting; Mayor Pro-Tem Amanda Fenwick seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes record both actions as routine procedural business and list no public comment on either item.
