Superintendent Jennifer Dunn and Vice Principal Kyle Brown provided operational updates Aug. 22 as the district prepares for the new school year. Dunn said staff will start with a Superintendent's Conference Day on Aug. 28 and an additional conference day on Aug. 29; students' first day is scheduled for Sept. 3. She also reported that an auditor was in the building reviewing the district's financials that week.
Brown gave program specifics: sports physicals were completed Aug. 12–14, varsity practices begin Aug. 26 and modified sports Aug. 30, August Regents were held Aug. 19–20, and calendars and ParentSquare family mailings will be distributed on Aug. 28. Brown also described summer programming including K–3 summer school (July 8–Aug. 1) and an online summer offering through PNW BOCES.
