The Coffee City Council voted to approve the November 2024 financials and the minutes of a Nov. 12 special called council meeting during its Dec. 9 session. Carrie Ousley made the motion to approve both items; Kevin Haughey seconded and the motion carried.
During the financial review, City Secretary Mary McDonald told the council the liability insurance charge shown in November is billed quarterly and was unusually high because of a renewal; she said the city should see a credit on the next invoice. The minutes record no further action on adjustments to the budget.
