The Town Board reviewed and approved a North Woods Engineering proposal to design repairs and new insulation and siding for deteriorated concrete masonry unit (CMU) block walls at the Highway Garage. The proposal includes design development, bidding support, and construction administration; a lump-sum fee of $9,550 for design development and estimated reimbursables of $2,500 (largely for hazardous-material testing) were presented, along with additional bidding and construction-administration fee estimates.
The board adopted a resolution authorizing the Supervisor to execute an agreement with North Woods Engineering; the motion was carried 5–0. The scope excludes new roofing and assumes hazardous-material testing returns negative results; the proposal notes abatement design would be an additional service if testing requires it.
