Superintendent Andy Ball told trustees the interlocal agreement allows the district to avoid individually collecting bids for food service purchases and to use cooperative purchasing instead. Trustee Heather Willmann moved to approve the interlocal agreement and purchases from formally procured bids; Trustee Nick Brown seconded and the motion passed 6–0 with one absence recorded.
