The RFP scope calls for high-performance triple-pane windows (maximum U factor 0.20), exterior insulation (minimum R-10), ventilated rainscreen, attic loose-fill cellulose insulation and replacement of one exterior door; the original portion of the building is described as 5,184 square feet and constructed in 1935.
The RFP notes grant-eligible work is limited to the building envelope and weatherization measures; ineligible costs include solar or EV charging and hazardous-material abatement (which must be billed separately). The board recorded a unanimous vote (5–0) to approve the RFP changes and to advertise the project for public bid so construction can meet the NYSERDA timetable (project completion date listed as Sept. 30, 2026).
