Clifton ISD Board President Julie New read the names of the candidates for the Coryell Central Appraisal District director election during the special-called meeting on Dec. 11.
Following the reading, the board moved to opt out of placing Clifton ISD's votes on the Coryell Central Appraisal District ballot. The motion to opt out was made by Board member Josh Ritzmann, seconded by Board member Nick Brown, and passed on a roll-call vote with six Yeas, zero Nays and one absent (Alex Montes).
The official roll-call recorded for the Coryell opt-out was: Nick Brown Yea; Steve Conrad Yea; Matthew Domel Yea; Julie New Yea; Josh Ritzmann Yea; Heather Willmann Yea; Alex Montes Absent (tally Yea 6, Nay 0, Absent 1).
