Chair E. Stuart Coleman said he will meet Monday with committee member Jessica Barsalow before the Board proceeds further on the Public Safety Facility planning. Andrea Ameden reported that Goldstone has offered to collaborate and suggested Town Administrator Karoline Wallace prepare an RFP for construction managers to work with designers and develop a more refined budget.
Coleman said he preferred waiting until after his meeting with Barsalow to decide the timing for issuing an RFP. The Board did not take action to issue an RFP at the Aug. 5 meeting; Wallace was asked to hold further steps until Coleman's meeting and to be ready to coordinate next steps if the committee recommends proceeding.
