Clear Lake Shores City Council on Feb. 17 approved a change order not to exceed $25,000 to repair additional damage found during emergency work on the city clubhouse. Councilman Ed Waters moved to approve the change order; Mayor Pro-Tem Amanda Fenwick seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The council did not provide a precise breakdown of the additional repairs at the meeting. A public commenter asked that any removed flooring be offered to Armand Bayou Nature Center if the city decides to tear out the clubhouse floor; the council did not take further action on that request during the meeting.
