The board approved a quote from APS (Athletic Performance Solutions) for up to $28,200 to refinish the gym floor. Shayne Korpela moved the motion, Brian Granholm seconded it, and the board recorded the motion as passed (Yea 4, Nay 0, Absent 2). "Motion to accept the quote from APS (Athletic Performance Solutions) in the amount of up to $28,200 for the Refinishing of the Gym Floor," appears in the record.
Separately, the board approved purchasing a Phantom Tensioned Indoor Batting Cage from Beacon Athletics to replace the indoor cage that had been in the old gym; Alisha Soderbloom moved the purchase and Timothy Homstad seconded. Facilities work was discussed more broadly: acoustic clouds scheduled for installation on Presidents' Day and repainting of walls over spring break. Jamie Lehti will review options for HVAC preventative maintenance and a computer system upgrade, and an annual inspection of the mail well pump for the heat loop system was noted.
