Board sets make-up day June 3 and approves 2025–26 school calendar

The Cromwell-Wright Public Schools board voted to make up one of two days missed for the Girls State Basketball Tournament, scheduling the make-up day for June 3, 2025. The motion to update the 2024–25 calendar was made by Shayne Korpela, seconded by Alisha Soderbloom and passed 5–0 with one absence.
The board also approved the proposed 2025–26 school calendar as presented. Board member Alisha Soderbloom moved approval of the 2025–26 calendar, Timothy Homstad seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. Superintendent Nathan Libbon said making up one missed day would allow employees additional time for training and end-of-year wrap-up.
