Centennial board adopts multiple revised district policies
Summary
The Centennial ISD 12 School Board unanimously adopted a slate of revised policies on Dec. 1, covering administrator ethics, chemical use, student promotion, school resource officers and other district rules.
At its Dec. 1 meeting the Centennial ISD 12 School Board held second readings and adopted revisions to multiple district policies, including Policy 306 Administrator Code of Ethics; 417 Chemical Use and Abuse; 507.5 School Resource Officers; 513 Student Promotion, Retention, and Program Design; and several more. Schwinn moved to adopt the revised policies; Murphy seconded and the motion passed 6-0-0.
The board did not record any amendments to the listed policies at the meeting. The changes were presented as a second reading and adopted as presented, with the board noting they were part of routine policy review and update work.
