In the superintendent’s report the district recorded an enrollment increase from 597 students last year to 647 this year. "This year, we're up to 6 47," the superintendent said when presenting enrollment figures and class counts.
He reviewed personnel moves: Christy Holt resigned as food service director; Amber Henderson moved into the food service director role; Nedra Holland was hired to fill a paraprofessional spot; Amanda Benson resigned as a secondary aide and Abigail Hernandez was hired to replace her on the junior high side. On construction, the superintendent said the district hopes to complete work by December and move fifth grade during the Christmas break; trustees discussed drainage, a manhole for a sewer line under the bus barn and burying electrical lines including placement of a transformer.
