The Cambridge-Isanti School Board on Dec. 12 approved several district policies and held first readings on others as part of its regular agenda.
Dr. Julie Williams presented multiple policy items. The board approved Policy 409 (Employee Publications, Instructional Materials, Inventions and Creations), Policy 512 (School-Sponsored Student Publications and Activities), Policy 613 (Graduation Requirements), Policy 722 (Public Data and Data Subject Requests), and Policy 806 (Crisis Management) by separate motions; minutes record each motion as approved unanimously. Separately, Policies 410 (Family and Medical Leave), 510 (School Activities), 516 (Student Medication), 522 (Title IX Sex Nondiscrimination Policy, Grievance Procedure and Process), and 533 (Wellness Policy) were presented as first readings and required no action at this meeting.
The minutes do not reproduce the full text of policies or policy changes; the record shows the board adopted the listed policies as presented and placed other policies on a future action track following first readings.
