The Cambridge-Isanti School Board met on Jan. 23, 2025, at Conference Rooms 121 A&B and took several routine but consequential actions, including approving the district—s Fiscal Year 2024 audited financial statements and adopting a resolution accepting gifts and donations.
Bill Lauer of Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich & Co., P.A. (MMKR) presented the FY2024 audit and reported it was a clean audit; Finance staff member Christopher Kampa provided a summary of the fund balance and comparative financial position. The board approved the audited financials on a motion by Mark Solberg, seconded by Nikki Johnson; the motion carried unanimously. The meeting record also shows the board adopted a resolution to accept a list of donations; that resolution passed on a roll-call vote with Directors Becky Roby and Vice Chair DeEtta Moos recorded as absent.
The board approved the 2025-26 school calendar after a presentation by Christina Thayer Anderson and approved a student trip to national parks scheduled for June 22-27, 2026 following a presentation by Dr. Steve Gibbs. Routine agenda and consent items, including the Treasurer—s report (approved subject to audit), were adopted without objection, and the meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
