Neighboring property owner Steve Karnish used the public-comment period to say the grass along the frontage of 267 Third Street in Manistee had not been mowed and asked that the property be maintained. Chair Rachel Nelson acknowledged the concern and said the mowing contractor had been contacted.
Project Manager Katie Gruenberg assured Karnish that the issue would be resolved and that "the property will be maintained while owned by the Land Bank Authority." The exchange was recorded in the minutes as part of the meeting’s public-comment time and no formal vote or staff directive beyond contractor contact was entered into the record.
The comment prompted no additional agenda action at the meeting but was noted by staff and will be part of site maintenance follow-up while the Land Bank retains the parcel.
