Board discusses tighter accounting for booster clubs and upcoming uniform decisions

Superintendent Nathan Libbon told the board the business manager recommends establishing accounts for booster clubs under the district activity fund, aiming to create checks and balances for longstanding team collections that currently lack formal accounting. "Not that we think any wrongdoing has happened, it would just be a more transparent way of doing business," the superintendent said, describing the recommendation.

Mr. Libbon also said he will work with the athletic director and volleyball coach on uniform purchases for the volleyball program. The board did not take formal action at the meeting; the topic was presented as a discussion item for future administrative follow-up.
