The Town Board voted to approve a license agreement permitting Tin Can Confectioners and Christie Ross to operate a coffee shop in a portion of the town-owned Tuxedo Train Station. Approval was subject to final sign-off by the Deputy Supervisor and the town's attorney.
Resident Dale Mottola, speaking during public comment, confirmed the Chamber will hold its next meeting at the station on Feb. 19 and said a ribbon-cutting has been offered though a date has not been set. "A ribbon-cutting ceremony has been offered, though a date has not yet been set," Mottola said, and suggested holding it during the day on a weekend to maximize attendance.
