The Cromwell-Wright Public Schools Board adopted seven policies on final reading during its April 23, 2025 meeting, approving rules on student weapons, searches of student property, student fundraising, do-not-resuscitate/do-not-intubate (DNR–DNI) orders, interviews of students by outside agencies, student surveys, and student disability nondiscrimination. The motion to approve the final readings was made by Board member Alisha Soderbloom and passed with five yea votes; one member was absent.
Board members discussed earlier readings of additional policies (532, 535, 214, 503) and held a second reading of Policy 516 (Student Medication and Telehealth). The final-reading motion named the specific policies approved (501, 502, 511, 518, 519, 520 and 521), signaling the board’s immediate adoption of those policy texts as presented.
