At the March 19 meeting Supervisor Michael Volino reviewed the town's 284 agreement planning and proposed allocations for road projects. After setting aside $25,000 for the Town section of Savona Campbell Road, $60,000 to complete the Hanrahan Road oil-and-stone project and $25,000 for guard rails on Knowles Road, the board noted roughly $200,000 would remain for other repairs under the 284 program.
Dan Gee moved and Holly Chase seconded a motion authorizing Highway Supervisor Ben Smith to proceed with the listed projects; the motion carried on a unanimous voice vote. Gee also asked Smith to inspect Bonny Hill Road just before the town line and report back. The decision formalizes prioritization of resurfacing and guardrail work discussed during the highway report.
