The board had opened a public hearing on the proposed rate earlier in the meeting, and "no one signed up to speak at the public hearing," according to the transcript.
Board President Brad Spenrath called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM and trustees present for the vote were Joe Paolilli, Larry Thayn, Alison Judkins, Lilly Edwards, Charlotte Kneupper and Brad Spenrath. The adoption followed inclusion of the tax-rate item on the agenda and written reports provided in the board packet.
