Mayor Russ Porter reminded South Ogden residents that they must postmark mailed ballots the day before the election for them to be counted and that ballots may be dropped off in person.
"If you wanna drop off your ballot don't post it. Need it that way. There's a ballot box right behind City Hall, the parking lot between the building and the basketball courts. You can drop off your ballots until 8PM on next Tuesday, November 5," Porter said. The mayor gave the box location to assist voters who prefer in-person dropoff.
Porter framed the reminder as part of a brief Nov. 1 city update, saying the city is close to election day and encouraging residents to ensure their ballots meet the mailing or drop-off deadlines.
