Trustees heard a Bond 2021 project update during the June 25 meeting after President Calvin Eshbaugh asked to move the item earlier on the agenda. Contractor representatives from Weaver and Jacobs Construction (Randy Boone) and consulting architect Christine Walker (Claycomb Associates) told the board the program is wrapping up and the remaining work is mostly punch-list items, roughly 20 items at the time of the report.
Project staff noted a warranty claim has been filed concerning chipping on doors. The board was told that four lights will be installed on the district multi-purpose field in mid-July and that the missing exterior "S" on the Performing Arts Center will be replaced. Trustees did not take further action other than acceptance of the update and direction to district staff regarding outstanding items.
