District recognizes teachers and staff of the month

Colorado ISD recognized teachers and staff across campuses: CES Teacher of the Month Kathrine Plagens; CES Staff Tracy Pena; CMS Teacher Micah Fields; CMS Staff Kaithlyn Garcia; CHS Teacher Priscilla Yelamanchi; CHS cafeteria staff Mary Campbell, Maria Evans and April Lenard.
At the start of the Nov. 10 meeting Dr. Polk announced district recognitions for Teacher and Staff of the Month. Honorees named in the minutes were: CES Teacher of the Month Kathrine Plagens and CES Staff of the Month Tracy Pena; CMS Teacher of the Month Micah Fields and CMS Staff of the Month Kaithlyn Garcia; CHS Teacher of the Month Priscilla Yelamanchi and CHS staff recognized as cafeteria ladies Mary Campbell, Maria Evans and April Lenard.
Dr. Polk thanked the recognized staff for their service and dedication to students; the minutes record his appreciation but do not include individual remarks from the honorees.
