Auditor reports clean 2024–25 audit; finalization delayed pending federal guidance

Michael Hamby of Merritt, McLane and Hamby joined the Colorado ISD Board by Zoom to present the 2024–25 audit. Hamby said the "2024-2025 audit was a clean audit" and that "no findings were found in the audit." He walked trustees through several pages and noted where the board might have questions.
Hamby told trustees the audit will need to be finalized later because federal single-audit guidelines for 2025 have not been approved; he said the district will bring the finalized audit back to the board once those guidelines are available. Hamby also complimented CFO Jerri Kimball and stated the district was in a good financial position. The audit's page-one date will need adjustment before finalization.
