Councilman Boudreau noted the project is associated with a $600,000 NYSERDA grant and includes windows, exterior wrap insulation, siding, and attic insulation.
Councilman Owen Littlefield highlighted a $7,500 optional provision for green windows to match existing windows in the new addition; the board approved accepting Zerodraft's bid including the green-window provision. Councilman Tim Larkin commented Zerodraft has prior NYSERDA experience, which influenced confidence in the award.
The board recorded no opposition; the motion carried 4–0. Officials said they will monitor grant compliance and, if funds remain after the project, consider permitted additional upgrades under NYSERDA rules.
